L’Acquario is a restaurant born within the walls of the village of Castiglione del Lago where, since the early 1900s, it has witnessed all the beautiful, ugly, and challenging events of the recently passed century.

 

Since 1992, its testimony has also become ours. With humility and respect, we strive to be spokespeople for this small part of history, life, people, and food.

 

L’Acquario‘s present identity is formed through an ongoing journey driven by values that we are committed to upholding in our food quality, culinary experience, ambiance and dedication to continuously improving our craft as chefs, restaurateurs, and entrepreneurs.

Through collaboration with local fishermen’s cooperatives and neighboring lakes, we offer dishes in which carp, perch, eel, or tench are introduced and recognized as precious assets of our lake.
